High Desert Relief (“HDR”, “we”, “us”) runs cannabis dispensaries in Albuquerque, Bernalillo, Santa Fe and Hobbs, New Mexico, and this website, highdesertrelief.org. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Age requirement
This website is for adults 21 and older, or registered New Mexico medical cannabis patients. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21. If you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Information you give us
When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), the topic and store you choose, and your message. We use this only to answer you. Your message is sent by email to the HDR team that handles that topic and is stored securely in our website’s admin area so we can follow up.
If you email or call one of our stores, we use what you share to respond to you.
Online menus and orders
The store menus on our website are provided by iHeartJane (Jane Technologies). When you browse a menu, build a cart or place an order for pickup, the information you enter is collected and processed by Jane under Jane’s privacy policy. We receive the order details we need to prepare and verify your order at the store.
In-store purchases
New Mexico law requires us to check identification at every visit and to keep certain sales records. We handle this information as required by the New Mexico Cannabis Control Division and do not sell it.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we use cookies and similar tools to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. These include:
- Google Analytics, which tells us things like which pages are visited, how people find us and what device they use. Google’s use of this data is covered by Google’s privacy policy. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Security and performance services, which record basic technical details such as your IP address and browser type to protect the site from attacks and spam.
- Menu cookies set by iHeartJane to remember your cart and store choice.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some features, such as the online menu cart, may not work without them.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the website, email and online menus (such as our web host, Google and iHeartJane), when the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our customers, staff and business.
How long we keep it
We keep contact form messages only as long as we need them to respond and follow up, and records required by law for as long as the law requires.
